Frequently asked questions about Sparkbot.
Getting Started
How do I start using Sparkbot?
Simply send /start in your Sparkbot chat. The bot will automatically create your first wallet and display the main menu. The setup takes about 5-10 seconds.
Do I need to download anything?
No! Sparkbot works entirely within Telegram. You only need:
- Telegram app (mobile or desktop)
- Internet connection
- Bitcoin to fund your wallet
Is Sparkbot free to use?
Sparkbot charges zero service fees for:
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Wallet creation
You only pay:
- 1% integrator fee on trades
- Pool swap fees (typically 0.3-1%)
What's the minimum amount to start?
Minimum deposit: 0.00001 BTC (~$1.00 at $100,000/BTC)
Wallets and Security
How secure is my wallet?
Your wallet seed phrase is encrypted and secured with access tied exclusively to your Telegram account, protected by:
- Telegram's built-in security
- Your 2FA (highly recommended)
- Device authentication
Can I import my existing wallet?
No. Sparkbot creates new wallets automatically. Each wallet is managed by the bot and accessed through your Telegram account.
What happens if I lose my Telegram account?
If you lose access to your Telegram account, you lose access to your Sparkbot wallets. This is why it's critical to:
- Enable Telegram 2FA
- Add recovery email
- Keep your phone number accessible
How many wallets can I create?
There's no hard limit, but we recommend 2-5 wallets for most users:
- More than 10 becomes difficult to manage
- Each wallet can be renamed for organization
- Multiple wallets useful for different strategies
Deposits and Withdrawals
How long do deposits take?
Timing:
- Bitcoin broadcast: Instant
- First confirmation: ~10 minutes
- 3 confirmations (required): ~30 minutes
- Available after claiming: Instant
Total time: Usually 30-60 minutes
Why do I need to "claim" deposits?
Claiming moves your confirmed deposits from pending state to available balance. This is a one-click process after 3 confirmations complete.
Can I reuse my deposit address?
Yes! Your deposit address never changes. You can:
- Save it for future deposits
- Use it multiple times
- Share it safely (for receiving funds)
Are there withdrawal limits?
Limits:
- Minimum: 0.00001 BTC (after fees)
- Maximum: Your available balance
- No daily limits
Features and Functionality
What is a limit order?
A limit order is an automated instruction to buy or sell when a token reaches your specified price. Once set, the bot monitors 24/7 and executes when conditions are met.
How do I find tokens to trade?
Methods to discover tokens:
- Paste token address directly in chat
- Get addresses from project websites
- Trading platforms like Luminex.io
- Community recommendations (verify authenticity!)
Can I trade any token?
You can trade any token that has a BTC liquidity pool on Spark. Tokens without BTC pools cannot be traded.
What's the difference between quick buy and limit order?
Quick Buy:
- Executes immediately
- At current market price
- Uses preset or custom amounts
Limit Order:
- Executes when price reaches target
- Can be below (buy) or above (sell) current price
- Automated 24/7
Settings and Configuration
What should my default settings be?
Recommended for beginners:
- Buy Amount: 0.001-0.005 BTC
- Sell Percent: 50%
- Slippage: 5%
Adjust based on your:
- Experience level
- Risk tolerance
- Capital size
What is slippage?
Slippage is the maximum price change you'll accept during trade execution. Example with 5% slippage:
- Token price when you click: $1.00
- Maximum you'll pay: $1.05
- Trade fails if price exceeds $1.05
Higher slippage = more likely to execute, but at potentially worse price.
How do I change my settings?
Navigate to: Main Menu → ⚙️ Settings
Then select:
- Buy Amount - Choose preset or custom
- Sell Percent - Choose percentage
- Slippage - Choose tolerance level
Changes take effect immediately.
Positions and Portfolio
How do I view my holdings?
Main Menu → 📊 Positions
Shows:
- All tokens across all wallets
- Current balance for each
- Value in BTC and USD
- Total portfolio value
Why is my position value different from what I paid?
Token prices change constantly based on market activity. Your position value reflects:
- Current market price
- Your token balance
- Real-time calculation
This creates profit (if value increased) or loss (if decreased).
Can I see my profit/loss?
Sparkbot doesn't automatically track entry prices. To calculate P&L:
- Find your purchase transaction in history
- Note amount spent (BTC)
- Compare to current position value
- Difference = profit or loss
Recommended: Keep a trading journal.
Technical Issues
The bot isn't responding
Try in this order:
- Wait 30 seconds (might be temporary)
- Send
/startto restart - Close and reopen Telegram app
- Check your internet connection
- Try again in a few minutes
My balance shows as "Loading..." or "Unavailable"
This usually means:
- Temporary network issue
- Recent transaction still processing
- Cache needs refresh
Solutions:
- Go to main menu and back
- Send
/start - Wait 1-2 minutes and check again
A trade is taking longer than expected
Normal trade execution: 5-15 seconds
If longer:
- Check your internet connection
- Network might be congested
- Wait up to 1 minute before retrying
If it fails, you'll see an error message with the reason.
