Slippage Tolerance
What It Controls
Maximum price movement you'll accept during swap execution:
- Protects against unfavorable price changes
- Balance between execution success and price protection
- Applies to all trades (buy, sell, limit orders)
Understanding Slippage
Example with 5% slippage:
Token price when you click: $1.00
Maximum you'll pay: $1.05
If price exceeds $1.05 → Trade fails (protects you)How to Change
- Go to Settings
- Tap Slippage Tolerance
- Select preset or tap Custom
- If custom, enter percentage (0.1-99)
- Confirm selection

Image Description: Slippage settings screen showing:
- Information box explaining slippage
- Preset buttons: 1%, 5%, 10%, 15%
- "Custom" button
- Warning for high slippage values
- Back button
Recommended Settings
| Token Type | Recommended Slippage | Rationale |
|---|---|---|
| High Liquidity | 1-2% | Stable prices, tight spreads |
| Medium Liquidity | 2-5% | Most common |
| Low Liquidity | 5-10% | Higher price impact |
| Very Low Liquidity | 10-15% | Necessary for execution |
WARNING
Slippage vs Price Impact:
- Slippage: Maximum price change you accept
- Price Impact: How much your trade moves the price
- High slippage doesn't mean you'll get worse prices. It just allows trades in more volatile conditions
