Wallet Management

Sparkbot provides comprehensive wallet management features that let you create, organize, and control multiple Spark wallets from a single interface.

Each Sparkbot user can manage multiple Spark wallets, each with its own:

  • Bitcoin deposit address
  • Spark address
  • Independent balance
  • Separate token holdings

Accessing Wallet Management

To access wallet features:

Main Menu → 💼 Wallet

Or use the command:

/wallet

Your Wallets

Understanding Wallet Indicators

When you view your wallets, you'll see two important indicators:

SymbolMeaning
Currently Selected - This wallet is active for trading
Preferred Wallet - Your default wallet that loads on startup

Example:

  • ✓⭐ Main Wallet - Currently selected AND your preferred wallet
  • ⭐ Savings Wallet - Your preferred wallet (but not currently selected)
  • ✓ Trading Wallet - Currently selected (but not your preferred)

Wallet Information Display

For each wallet, you'll see:

  • Name: Custom nickname or default "Spark Wallet N"
  • Balance: Current BTC balance
  • Address: Shortened Spark address

Creating Additional Wallets

Why Create Multiple Wallets?

Common use cases:

  • 💼 Portfolio Separation - Keep long-term holds separate from trading
  • 🎯 Strategy Isolation - Different wallets for different strategies
  • 💰 Savings - Store larger amounts in a wallet you rarely touch
  • 🔐 Security - Distribute funds across multiple wallets

How to Create a New Wallet

  1. Go to Wallet menu
  2. Tap ➕ Create New Wallet button
  3. Wait a few seconds for wallet creation
  4. Your new wallet appears in the list

TIP

Automatic Setup: Each new wallet automatically gets:

  • ✅ Bitcoin deposit address
  • ✅ Spark address
  • ✅ Independent balance tracking

Switching Between Wallets

Selecting a Wallet

To switch to a different wallet:

  1. Go to Wallet menu
  2. Tap on the wallet you want to use
  3. The ✓ indicator moves to your selected wallet

What Happens When You Switch

When you select a different wallet:

  • ✅ All trades use the new wallet
  • ✅ Balance display updates
  • ✅ Position views show tokens in that wallet
  • ✅ Deposits go to that wallet's Bitcoin address

Switching is Instant: There's no delay or transaction required. You're simply choosing which wallet to use for your next operations.

Setting a Preferred Wallet

What is a Preferred Wallet?

Your preferred wallet (marked with ⭐) is automatically selected when you:

  • Start the bot
  • Return to the main menu after inactivity
  • Use certain features that need a default wallet

Setting a Wallet as Preferred

  1. Go to Wallet menu
  2. Tap on the wallet you want to set as preferred
  3. Select ⭐ Set as Preferred
  4. The star indicator appears next to that wallet

TIP

Pro Tip: Set your most frequently used wallet as preferred to save time. You can change it anytime.

Renaming Wallets

Why Rename Wallets?

Custom names help you:

  • Remember each wallet's purpose
  • Quickly identify the right wallet
  • Organize your trading strategy

How to Rename

  1. Go to Wallet menu
  2. Tap on the wallet to rename
  3. Select ✏️ Rename Wallet
  4. Enter your desired name (max 50 characters)
  5. Send the message
  6. Your wallet is renamed immediately

Each wallet shows:

Checking Individual Wallet Balance

To see detailed balance for a specific wallet:

  1. Go to Wallet menu
  2. Tap on the wallet
  3. Select 💰 View Balance

You'll see:

  • Total BTC balance
  • USD equivalent
  • Pending deposits
  • Claimable deposits
  • Token holdings (if any)

Wallet Security

DANGER

Critical Security Notes:

  • If you lose access to your Telegram account, you cannot recover your wallets
  • Enable 2FA on your Telegram account for maximum security
  • Never share your Telegram session or account access

Access Control

Only you can access your wallets:

  • ✅ Tied to your unique Telegram user ID
  • ✅ No shared or exported keys
  • ✅ Requires active Telegram session

Best Security Practices

  1. Enable Telegram 2FA

    • Settings → Privacy and Security → Two-Step Verification
    • Set a strong password
  2. Secure Your Device

    • Use device lock (PIN/biometric)
    • Keep OS updated
    • Don't root/jailbreak
  3. Be Cautious of Scams

    • Never share wallet access
    • Verify token addresses
    • Don't trust unsolicited DMs
  4. Use Multiple Wallets

    • Don't keep all funds in one wallet
    • Separate hot/cold storage
    • Limit exposure per wallet
