Ready to make your first token purchase? This guide will walk you through executing your first trade on Sparkbot, step by step.

• ✅ Deposited and claimed Bitcoin
• ✅ Configured your settings (optional but recommended)

Step 1: Find a Token

For this example, let's say you want to buy a token called "SPARK MEME" that you heard about.

Get the Token Address

You need the token's address, which you can get from:

• The project's official website
• Community announcements on Telegram or X
• Trading platforms like Luminex.io
• Social media posts from the project

Paste the Address in Sparkbot

1. Copy the entire token address (it looks like a long string of characters)
2. Go to your Sparkbot chat
3. Paste the address and send it

Step 2: Review Token Information

After pasting the address, Sparkbot displays comprehensive token information:

What to Check Before Buying

Before proceeding, verify these key metrics:

Metric	What to Look For	Why It Matters
Liquidity	> $5,000 (ideally > $10,000)	Ensures you can buy and sell without huge price impact
Holders	> 50 holders	Indicates the token has some community
24h Volume	Active trading	Shows the market is liquid
Price Change	Reasonable movement	Extreme pumps (>1000%) might be risky

WARNING

Red Flags to Avoid:

• ⚠️ Very low liquidity (< $1,000)
• ⚠️ Only a few holders (< 10)
• ⚠️ No recent trading volume
• ⚠️ Extreme price volatility
• ⚠️ Addresses you can't verify

Step 3: Choose Your Purchase Amount

You have two options for selecting how much to buy:

Option A: Use Your Default Amount (Quickest)

The button shows your preset buy amount from Settings (e.g., "📈 Buy 0.001 BTC").

1. Tap the Buy button with your default amount
2. Skip to Step 4 (Confirm Purchase)

Option B: Enter Custom Amount

If you want to buy a different amount:

1. Tap 💰 Custom Amount
2. You'll see a prompt to enter your desired BTC amount

• Token price: $0.000542
• Your purchase: 0.001 BTC (~$100 at $100,000 BTC)
• Estimated tokens: $100 ÷ $0.000542 ≈ 18,450 tokens

Note: This is an estimate. The actual amount depends on the pool's current state and slippage.

Step 4: Review and Confirm

After selecting your amount, Sparkbot performs several checks:

What Happens Behind the Scenes

1. Balance Check: Verifies you have enough BTC
2. Pool Selection: Finds the best liquidity pool for this token
3. Price Calculation: Calculates expected tokens received
4. Slippage Check: Ensures price impact is within your tolerance
5. Transaction Execution: Submits the swap to Spark

This entire process typically takes 5-15 seconds.

Step 5: Trade Executed!

When the trade completes, you'll see a success message:

Understanding the Confirmation

The transaction ID is proof of your trade. You can:

• Tap and hold to copy it
• Use it to verify the transaction on a sparkscan.io

Step 6: View Your Position

Now that you own tokens, let's see them in your portfolio:

1. Return to the main menu
2. Tap 📊 Positions
3. Your new tokens will be listed

How do I see my profit/loss?

Your current position value is shown in the Positions tab. Compare it to what you spent:

When should I sell?

• Short-term trading: Sell when you reach your profit target
• Long-term holding: Hold through volatility

Why is my position value different from what I paid?

Token prices change constantly based on market activity. The value shown reflects:

Yes! Simply:

1. Paste the token address again
2. Buy additional amount
3. Your positions will be combined automatically

What if I want to sell some now?

From your position details:

1. Tap on the position
2. Select a percentage to sell (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
3. Or choose "Custom Amount"
